Walkerton Dollars is an initiative designed to encourage residents to shop locally. They are often handed out as prizes for BIA promotions, many business owners give them to their employees as gifts, and can be purchased by residents. Authentic Walkerton Dollars are printed on coloured cardstock paper, have a raised seal embossed on the front, and are validated by the Walkerton BIA stamp. The graphics may change seasonally. The Walkerton BIA will reimburse you, the merchant, the full value of any Walkerton Dollars redeemed at your business. Simply submit them to us on a monthly basis (or as often as possible).
